Well, I have been hearing the rumors and so far everything looks like it's pointing to a Call of Duty: Vietnam by Treyarch this coming Fall 2010.
According to PlanetXbox360, they've uncovered some interesting things about the upcoming release. Apparently the game will focus heavily on the actual story, including the struggles of your squad mates.
Also, just as the WWII based games in the series were modeled after movies such as "Saving Private Ryan", the upcoming release will be based on notable Vietnam era films such as "Platoon", "Full Metal Jacket", and "Apocalypse Now".
Not sure what everyone else thinks about this change in scenery from WWII but I suspect it's welcomed; especially considering this era of war has been previously UNtouched by this series.
